Specsavers are always very busy in my local branch, but they get you through the system efficiently and quickly. Definitely would recommend them.
They were very good and do a two for one deal.

Used to pay hundreds of pounds for glasses 30 years ago, now they're £79 at Asda.

My last pair of glasses cost over £400, Specsavers gave two with £120 in lens for £330. Good deal.

Years ago I got my first glasses. I was wearing them at the start of a lesson.

You probably thought you looked even better when you’d taken them off

 Ahh! The auld "you look better with glasses" and "girls with glasses don’t get passes" tropes. I wear glasses – well, supposedly... unfortunately, I need them for distance vision.

Drama at my chemo today, my immune system has taken a shit and I can't take my chemo pills. Having a peg injection (insert jokes here) and coming in for a blood test in the morning.

Went back to hospital this morning and my peg injection worked so they gave me my chemo pills. It is funny watching people in hospital. One guy came in for chemo and there was a delay in delivering it so he and his son moaned and then spent the next forty minutes suggesting they should go to a different hospital.

Made me chuckle as the Royal Marsden only does cancer and is one of the best cancer hospitals in the world.
