I'm still trying to work out what was the point of Poulter and Elphick crossing the floor.
Neither of them are standing again so it looks like a calculated move to embarrass the Conservative party and Sunak in p0articular.
Poulter crossing the floor wasn't even a 9 days wonder and Elphick seems to have given Starmer the kind of publicity no political leader wants, all adverse and criticism from his own side, not something I imagine he thought would happen.
If the London Borough of Barnet isn't in London where is it?

I'll say soccer whenever I want to soccer soccer soccer soccer bloody soccer
Sent from my Advent Monza S200 so bloody old I can't remember when I bought it

Given his eventual fate, I think he'd have preferred to be.

You seem confounded by the concept of two individuals having a small conversation.

I see Esther McVey has announced she's banning the civil service from issuing LGBT lanyards.

Personally I found lanyards a pain and always clipped my ID to my belt but if I was in the civil service I'd buy one for a laugh. Prisons are kicking people out because the are full. Rent is so expensive people simply can't rent. The Police are overwhelmed. If you are sick you are going to struggle to find a GP. Want a dentist, hard luck. People won't join the army because the pay and living conditions are shit.

But hey let's look into lanyards.

Amazing.

I wonder how Esther votes on gay rights ..... oh ..... https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/24882 ... arn%20more.

I've been to several foreign universities and paid for tution at the international market rate. I've always been confused why the government seems to be endlessly attacking foreign students. They recently banned undergrads from bringing their partners, essentially killing off older students coming here. There are now being told to leave it all alone.

They recently attacked Labour for suggesting unions could agree joint pay awards for carers, meaning the industry will continue relying on foreign help. They've introduced the no family rule there as well.

They are now picking up any issue they think Daily Mail readers will get agitated about.
Irrespective of its relevance or practicality
Entirely about the election
