It is a shite tournament, it must be said. Games, for the most part, are dire. There's hardly any atmosphere at the matches, bar the fans of Senegal (they were having a ball).
No rioting, pished-up England fans; what is football coming to?

Don't know about that. The Argentinian fans seemed to be having a ball when they scored their second tonight. We on these islands are a dour, irritable, glass half empty load of Debbie Downers. I'm sure that the rest of the country's fans are having a right old party in Qatar, and good on them for doing so. We just piss and moan about everything. Fuck us.

Well I'm quite enjoying it. And it will get better in the knock out rounds.

As I said Early errr doors old friend, I've quite warmed to the idea of a winter tournament.
Not been a classic, but enjoyable all the same.
