I went to wendys in nz when i first went there in 2011. I was jetlagged and tired but there was a wendys down the steet from city hostel in auckland. The food was ok and not too bad. they love rugby in nz and i met some indians there too who were playing cricket.

Long time ago, hard to remember!! Possibly.
I worked at the novatel at the bottom of queen's street. Restaurant on the top floor overlooking the harbour. Nice.

“Grill’d” down here is reliable and has been a decent option for around ten years. Lots of independents sprung up off the back of their success and now there’s plenty of great local alternatives keeping the main US shops at bay. There’s a couple of “Carl’s jnr”and one “Five Guys” here in NSW but in regional outposts, which tells me they’re dipping their toes. Don’t see them making any ground.

They’d be doing very well to change the status quo, particularly given a strong bbq culture. Personally I love “Beyond Burger” patties as I don’t eat meat. Worth a go if you know how to build a burger. Beautiful fodder and far removed from Quorn and Linda Mac shite.

I saw a wendys is opening in Oxford soon. I hopefully they’ll expand around the uk. A Tim Hortons is opening soon in Northampton. Wish we had a dunkin donuts
