Take rashers of bacon
Wrap in foli.
Put foil parcel on the exhaust manifold of the car - wire in place if necessary.
Drive on for an hour or so, while the smell of bacon slowly permeates the car.
Stop, rescue the foil parcel, unwrap and slap the bacon between slices of bread.
Fantastic when at the side of a Norwegian road, early on a winter morning.

They all sound good and I'm not sure if it counts as a bacon sarnie but it's a BLT for me atm.

Lots of dry cure streaky, smoked. Not too fused about bread type but usually have granary so toasted and buttered. Usually have some homemade slaw (Cabbage, carrot, gherkin) in the fridge so that works instead of lettuce. Crunchtastic.
