Isn't that the Club World Cup?
Actually glad we've got some football still to watch, will be tuning in.

Correct JW. I love to hear Talksport gripe about it on the rare occasion an English team is involved. The greatest gift Sepp Blatter gave us.

Re: Confederations Cup 2017
Interesting listening to Hoddle and Dixon talking about the Dele situation and the VAR (or whatever it's called) in the France match.
They thought it was a goalscoring opportunity, although I heard Mark Halsey define this as meaning that the player was in control of the ball at the time of the foul.
I think Dele's control at the point he was clipped is debatable; he'd pushed the ball way past Lloris. Don't think it was as obvious as Hoddle made out.

I knew it was something, saw it in your signature and went with it. Apologies, AB.

All such summer tournaments outside the Euros and World Cup will duly be ignored by our so-called Sports Station.
All the focus will be on Wee Rory this weekend.

Re: Confederations Cup 2017
Wee Rory has gone home. Most interest seems to be him err 'destroying' Elkington on twatter. Nah:
A strawman and your past, Rory. You avoid Elkington's point.
Let's see "plenty more where that came from", then.

Was coming. Floodgates and other clichés are available.
Enjoy, End.
However did like NZ in SA2010. Three draws, no defeats and some interesting games. Held Italy. But always love Winston Reid late v Slovakia. I still think Winston Smith from '1984', but hey:

Many of the matches on at 4PM BST. Berezutsky and Ignashevich have both retired in the Russian central defence.

Yep, kancut. Always better live, dear End. and hope he has a good experience, less so a good soccer game.
Game ain't great. Mon the Russian's to kill it off. Mon the Kiwis showing what underdog is. Kiwis better.
