'Braverman had criticised the way protests in London had been policed and was accused of stoking tension before Saturday's pro-Palestinian march'

Nope, she was sacked because she was crap at her job. The Robinson shite had been planned for weeks.

She was correct about the Met.

Horrible old crone.

Read some shit somewhere that she wanted to be sacked to prepare for a leadership bid.

She’s an awful person who should be nowhere near politics let alone the Government.

Did her job didn't she. Stirred the pot, attacked institutions (judiciary, police and ECHR) causing and caused lots of division by playing to her base...that playbook remind you of someone?

She’ll have her supporters for sure. The ERG/Eurosceptic loony wing of the party. The Redwoods, Rees Moggs, Francois.

Sunak’s going to have his work cut out not to come across as a wet lettuce. It would have been better for him to keep her in her position so she would self immolate by coming out with more and more outrageous statements and alienating herself more and more. Now she’ll appeal to the knuckle draggers and make herself a martyr. What a charming woman she is.

But if the Tories take a beating at the next election, are they going to want to appeal to knuckle daggers or move more centrist?

I don’t think the Tories can move more centrist which is why Sunak looks so ineffectual and impotent. But yes, losing seats at the next GE is obviously raising red flags for the grandees.

Reckon there will be a new round of in fighting? I don’t think Suella will go quietly into the background and she does have a lot of support amongst both backbenchers and the general public who see her as being the only line of defence against wokeists and the far left.
