Where's Ciaran?

Post by Zambo »

Schools closed, people told to work from home. The forecast here was for 80mph winds from 20:00 last night to 20:00 tonight. Not a breath of wind here, not has there been for the last couple of hours.

Eye of the storm maybe, or just the usual shite forecasting.

Fuck all of any concern.

Maybe it doesn't affect the part of the country you live in? :smt023

Dartford was underwater this morning, apparently. Ciaran must’ve wanted to see the statues of Mick and Keef in the town centre.

Amber warning for wind and rain here, but apart from some light rain and an occasional stiff breeze, no problems. Relieved, as just had a new fence put up on Tuesday.

Let’s be honest, after 1987 they are probably always going to be a little over protective.

Unbelievable isn't it? My interchange, a large London station, was a ghost town today. " WoRk FrOm HoMe!!!!! "

Lovely, sunny day up here. Put t’washing out. Enjoying the last few days days I’ve had off. Off later to enjoy some Autumnal views before it rains again tomorrow.

It's giving them a name, though, isn't it? Somehow more dangerous, or some fucking thing.

In the Olden Days the weather-man would tell you that it would get a bit windy because of a storm, typical for the time of year, but now it's "Storm Norman!"
Giving it a specific name, oh, really? It's not a tropical hurricane. Get over yourselves. It's a STORM! That's it.

Ciaran's* causing all sorts of storms in 'Classic Corrie' on ITV3. Leading Sunita along whilst shagging old Bev (mum of Shelley, landlady of the Rovers). :smt025

* Played by Keith Duffy from 'Boyzone'.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.
