£20k counts as marginal these days, they've lost a few already with higher than that
I realised we are possibly reaching end of days territory when I recently read about the potential of Stratford-upon-Avon - a town I know well - going Lib Dem at the next election.
If it turns Lib Dem, prepare yourself for the worst.
Do you think the Lib Dems are worse than Labour, Lambers?
They're pretty much the same at the moment; likewise, the current Tories, aka Blairites. It's difficult to tell them apart. As a small-c conservative, I feel politically homeless.
Fair enough, Lambers.
While I'm not convinced that there is a credible alternative (Labour's plans are wooly at best), I do think the current Govt has run its course, though. Voting them in again for another term would be depressing in the extreme.

He's a Tory supporter by his own account.

And the new Labour government of the time were foolish in jumping on the popularity bandwagon to endorse him.

He's donated hundreds of thousands to the Labour Party and is now a cross bencher. He's just realised that voting Labour in will make more of a mess than keeping the Tories.

He was trying to avoid paying taxes to his own country.

I even said in my original post about him that it wasn't specifically government related, but as he's gone back to his tory roots and I didn't see the point in creating a new thread just about him, it felt right to put it here.

Mind you, Alan sugar does hold a role within the current government.

Yeah,, yeah...

Except that Labour has a better record with the economy over the years than the Tories have.

Liz Truss' book about how to save the West in 10 years...

It took her just 49 days to fuck up the economy for a generation. I dread to think what this delusional dunce will do in ten years.

Although, likely Lambrini may think she's inspired

Forward by (Dr?) Jordan Petersen or Poundland Morrissey aka Douglas Murray.

Oh, I completely agree. I won't be voting for them.
'Wooly' is good description.

Like de pfeffel, she's more comfortable sniping from the road side rather than driving on the road.

Anyone stupid enough to buy her book better have some brightly coloured crayons.

Where on here did I post my support for Truss? Is she inspiring because of her gender? Don't be stupid.
