Tbf it looked like the Chelsea team left just before extra-time. So you can’t really blame the fans for not sticking around.chelseachelsea wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 6:13 pmTell which teams fans remain after they've lost???Sunbeam Alpine wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:57 pm Yes he did
That's one of the 11 positions.
We were missing 7 regular first teamers today.
You were beaten by kids,
Mudryk cost you more than Liverpool have ever spent on a player.
As for class
Have a look around the stadium at the end. Yours had gone home.
I guess now you will say Liverpool.

Looking at the goal again, any decent Coach or Captain would tell one of the players to man mark Van Dijk. There’s absolutely no other threat from a set piece.

Chapman also did the rugby league World Club Challenge from Wigan last night.carcinogen wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 4:14 pm Put the final on they said. It'll be a good game they said. It's not on the BBC they said. Ok I said. I'll put it on.

Chelsea is a joke club. Not many of us will deny that, however Liverpool fans are generally the most insufferable, self-aggrandising me me me bunch of wet wipes one could ever hope not to meet. Not bitter at all. Obviously…

And as shit as we were let’s not pretend it was a team of 15 year olds we lost to. Liverpool played a couple of 19ish year olds and a load of seasoned pros. We still should’ve done better though. Obviously.

A "load of seasoned pros"
Go and have another look.
To be lectured about "class" is irony in the extreme.
One flop after another. I give you Cucurella, Mudryk, Sterling, Jackson, several defenders...
Two midfielders total cost £200m, real value maybe £80m
It will be rinse and repeat time again, ah but wait,
FFP won't allow seven -year amortisation.
What do you do then?

I'd say it's a safe bet to say that a lot of fans supporting a lot of English teams aren't much on the Monarchy , it's just the shitcunt supporters of your club that choose to boo . Classy but to be expected from the self pity city.Sunbeam Alpine wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 7:59 pmOh OKchelseachelsea wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 5:47 pm My initial memory is the People's Republic of Liverpool booing the National Anthem....such a classy lot

Playing the national anthem seems to me to have no place in a cup final between clubs. We do it just because we always have.Salem wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 11:31 amI'd say it's a safe bet to say that a lot of fans supporting a lot of English teams aren't much on the Monarchy , it's just the shitcunt supporters of your club that choose to boo . And there's quite a difference between an anthem celebrating a country and one which praises a fabulously rich and extremely out-of-touch family.
International games, perhaps.
As for self-pity city, I can only say not now or in my experience, ever. Angry, with good reason.

Would Everton or Tranmere fans do that? They're from Liverpool too, I'm given to understand.
