Grass Verges

Council not cutting them in May for some woke reason. At the end of my road there is a junction. When looking left there is an incline, and vehicles bomb down it. The grass in the verge is about 3ft high and you cannot see approaching vehicles until the last couple of seconds. Phoned the council, but they are not sure when they can address it. Had no choice but to get the shears out and do it myself.

What are they spunking my council tax on other than Councillor expenses.

Time they stopped calculating how much you pay on the size of your property.

Cunts.

Give it time, hippy's will be sowing wild flowers into their hair gathered from these verges while you negotiate the huge traffic calming measures your council tax will be going towards.

The wellness woke and environment saved...win, win.

Not cutting grass is a good thing, although I suspect councils aren't cutting it because its cheaper.

To be honest, they can leave them to grow house high. However, what I have a problem with, is where the growth becomes a safety hazard for road users. Around here, the uncut verges are doing that at roundabouts and junctions. Saw a couple of council mowers today, and it looks like they are starting to cut the grass adjacent to main roads.

I expect that people of unconventional appearance, will be out with placards tomorrow, stating save the daisies, dandelions and white clover.

Never mind grass verges, what about those arseholes who let their hedge grow out of control so that when you’re trying to drive you can’t see what’s around the corner.

They make a good case for bringing back public flogging.

I grass them up ... see what I did there.

My local council has an app, I go for a walk everyday to get some fitness and the thoughtless people who let there hedges take over the pavement annoy me a great deal. Magically the council has an app where you take a photo give the location and they on the persons door and tell them to sort it or the council will and then send them a bill.

Works a treat.

Good idea, just found where I can complain to my LA about an overgrown hedge that has been pissing me off and endangering others.

Didn’t Paolo get a ban for talking about such things?
