It really wouldn't bother me. There have been numerous England shirts with the flag altered or used in different colours, and I don't remember any so-called "outrage" then, either.

Personally, I think it's absolutely disgusting that Umbro dared to change the colour of the cross on the St George's flag. I had a good mind to write to my MP at the time

I can clearly see an unaltered cross of St George on that shirt along with other coloured crosses . That shirt (pictured) was a quality design by the way , as were many of the Umbro England shirts .

To be fair , I kinda like the new shirt , despite the playful update .

Yes, I get that, but I thought the source of the outrage was the temerity of changing the colour of the cross from red to something else (daring to change something sacred etc). So it's odd that this shirt didn't cause the same outcry at the time…

Perhaps it's because we seem now to have an outrage a day culture.
You are half way there to provoking the outrage if you can force the word "woke" in what you say.

If you disagree with certain types, then you are immediately outraged, seething, or having a meltdown.

Just another way of saying I can't think of a valid argument.

Doesn't appear so.
Surprising, given the "outrage" from so many…
