Alexander-Arnold

Why is he in Qatar at all?

He wasn't used against Qatar or in the dreary performance against the USA, where his defensive qualities would not have been an issue.

In the week when Roberto Carlos said he is one of only two non-Brazilians he would have in the Brazil side.

Simple answer is he shouldn't be there. Southgate is a primarily defensive coach and Arnold's woeful defending would be too much of a risk.

If you look at Liverpool's stats since he joined the first team, they are doing something right.
Then you look at his record for assists.

And he is one of the two creative players in his squad, Foden being the other. Grealish is more form than substance. If Kane is overwhelmingly the goalscorer he would profit from TAA's crosses.

But if he doesn't play him even against teams with little offensive threat when would he?

If he isn't I'd rather have him safe and sound out of there..

Lucky to have made the squad. He’s a defender and a bang average one at that.

He doesn't trust him as a defender in the way he wants England to play which is nothing like LFC plus his recent form hasn't been great (?) compared to his past contribution. Who's left at right back playing for a top English club anyway, Walker is recovering and he would not have got the call if James had been fit.

England didn't play Qatar....... Iran Qatar, Qatar Iran, 2 cheeks of the same arse...typo or not your Liverpool love in is frankly pathetic, considering the People's Republic of Liverpool, don't even want their players turning out for England.

He's probably being excluded as part of some massive conspiracy against Liverpool. Hopefully they will release a Xmas single to bring justice

^Thank you for that.
Especially with you being such an objective commentator.
Last year the only British full back in the world's top five.
But you know best of course.
And yes if he's not going to play given England's roaring success so far I'd rather he was not there. As would every other LFC fan. Simple enough.

Terence Trent D'Arby would be a better defensive option.

A large section of Liverpool fans think the Scottidh captain on the other flank is better and can defend.
English media are the Trent lovers.

Good job nobody listens to “LFC” fans then.

Hillman accusing other people of one eyed bias is extraordinary tbh. Probably ironing his “Suarez is Innocent” t-shirt as we speak.

Is he a full-back? Is he a winger? I don't think even he knows. He can't fucking defend, that's all I know.
