That wasn't thinly veiled bird. :D

Sadders probably couldn't find a gif without bitch on it. I don't think there was any malice in it. If he did, it's a hard 7

My comment – an insult(?) – wasn't personal. Tick's was. Apparently I'm an airhead.

One can see the logic of Liz using that song. Consider it's opening verse:

You've done me wrong
Your time is up
You took a sip
(Just a sip)
From the devil's cup
You broke my heart
There's no way back
Move right outta here baby

A clear reflection on how the country views the Conservative party.

The point was Labour getting lathered by a song being used which Blair had previously used for himself. They should stick to criticising policies which they have no manifesto for. And that is because they haven't got a clue what to do.

It's M People themselves who have been the most vociferous in protesting the misappropriation of their song. As is their right.

Spinning this into yet another "but labour" trope is a sign of how tory supporters are clutching at ever shrinking straws.

Well I'm no Tory supporter, I just don't want to see things get worse, which they most definitely would with a Labour Government.

Those doing the most complaining are Labour activists like the founder of the group.

The nation has reached rock bottom after 12 years of misrule. Labour would be an improvement even with its current drawbacks.

And musicians have the right to protest against their work being used without permission by political, public or commercial organisations.

If you think this is rock bottom, then you will need to strap yourself in.

True, we still have 2 years of Tory rule to go.

The only relief would be for public pressure to force an early general election to get rid of the Tories.

You can't genuinely believe that.
