Re: Kelner
Jordan Jarrett-Bryan standing in. Usually not too bad, not listening though.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Re: Kelner
You need to employ staff for that...man the phones, filter the callers, deal with the drunks etc.

Re: Kelner
They have them, but producers like simple Sam Stevens and Grd Mills are more.like co-presenters now.

Yeah, why pay a co-presenter when the producer can join in.

Re: Kelner
That was why the old Baker and Kelly show was so good. The two of them, the producer and the callers were a team, and the idea was to make a show that was interesting to the neutral listener.
tS thinks that mentallers screaming like children is interesting to the rest of us, and that argument is, in and of itself, a Good Thing.

That's how the old Whale show used to work - gAsh would answer the phones as well as chip in with his bollocks.

He’s on holiday in the US for two weeks, visiting his Sky reporter daughter Martha who is based there.

Re: Kelner
Just had his daughter who's reporting for Sky News on the Ghislaine Maxwell trial on Times Radio.
She's not the clearest of speakers in usual circumstances anyway, but speaking down a phone line it very much sounded like she was referring to Glenn Maxwell being in the dock.
