Re: The North-West of England
Have to say that from my experience, to favour Merseyside over a sleepy Oxfordshire village is rather tenuous. Yes, I know Southport is lovely but I would always want to live in the Thames Valley over Merseyside, it's quite a bit warmer for a start.

There's better places than Southport on Merseyside.
There's also shitholes in Oxfordshire.
I reckon Hillmo lived on The Blackbird Leys.
Oxfordshire village my anus.

My pal lives in Oldham, short drive to Yorkshire one way (hudds, sheff), short drive to Manchester the other way
Never eaten out in Manchester, been to Jumbo in hudds, was good
Think may research may be needed before I’d contemplate a move but we all know things get cheaper & friendly the more north you go

Re: The North-West of England
Only God thing about the South is Luton and Stansted airports, I really can't say anything great
All north is really nice however there are some very nasty areas of Liverpool and Manchester and Nottinghamshire
In North of England it's beautiful countryside , great pubs, nice prices , good people, great places for Pakistani food , good takeaways as well, not like in the South where every takeaway is run by Turkish
Best football teams 100%

Altrincham has just been voted the best place to live in the North West
It was voted the best place to live in the UK last year
Just saying

Yup, their cuisine is more around grilled meat with mild seasoning, yoghurt and vegetables like aubergine. Iranians largely don’t eat curry or spicy stuff.Perlagreen wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:41 amI mean curry , Pakistani food , Indian food , Bangladesh foodminx wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:24 amUsually made my Iranians or Bangladeshi but still so goodPerlagreen wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 9:26 am Only God thing about the South is Luton and Stansted airports, I really can't say anything great
