Undercover Hooligan. By Christ, what a complete load of shite.

If I’m honest, I only watched it as Ali Bastion was in it, but god it was dreadful.

Love those old b/w gangster films of the thirties.

"Little Caesar" along with "The Public Enemy" were two classics of 1931 which set the scene for the next decade.

Edward G Robinson, James Cagney, Bogey and others, brilliant. :drinkers:
Dieu Le Roi.

The Third Man for the nth time. I just love the Orson Wells quote;
"In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
