Third place play off - Belgium v England
Come on lads. I know you feel deflated but let's finish on a high note. 3 defeats in a World Cup would take the shine off things

Go on lads get that bronze, top scorer and glove.
Belgium, Romelu and Courtois.
Fair dues Guvnors! One hell of a tournament even if a bit of luck on the way. Something I'll never see as a Jock, so you should be proud!

How dies this Golden Glove business work?
It cannot be simply about clean sheets or even fewest goals conceeded as it is possible for team to go go out in the group stage after three 0-0 draws ergo its goalie would have a 100% record.

Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

I love the Third-Place match. It stops the semi-final losers jetting off to the sun for another 4 days.
We should re-introduce it to the Euros. 2 days offs lads and back to pre-season training with the clubs.

From Wiki:
Golden Glove
The Golden Glove Award is awarded to the best goalkeeper of the tournament. The award was introduced with the name Lev Yashin Award in 1994, in honor of the late Soviet goalkeeper.[6] The FIFA Technical Study Group recognises the top goalkeeper of the tournament based on the player's performance throughout the final competition. Although goalkeepers have this specific award for their position, they are still eligible for the Golden Ball as well, as when Oliver Kahn was awarded in 2002. Although the Golden Glove Award was first awarded in 1994, every All-Star Team in World Cups prior to 1998 except 1990 included only one goalkeeper. In the event of a tie, the Golden Glove Award goes to the goalkeeper who progressed furthest in the competition. The next tiebreakers are saves made, then minutes played.

If we don't win, we should utilize all these flash fucking fighter jets we've bought from the yanks and bomb Brussels. What is the fucking point of Belgium? It's fucking shit. Either become part of France or The Netherlands. Cunts.

Heard Splatterface say "Roberto Martinez has almost as many premier league appearances as Southgate."
Don't think Martinez played in the Premier League.

Surely England could have played in white and Belgium in red.
