Kinda.

Well put.

However, their constant nagging / fact checking approach is tedious.

Listening to it last night, Parry came out with all the usual eccentric blustering, self promoting stuff. I've heard it all before. Maybe one too many times?

I'm getting the same feeling about a lot of tS shows. It was so good after the World Cup when a lot of them were on holiday, they got some different presenters in and these was no football to try and wind the listeners up about, but I can hardly bear to listen to more than about two minutes of the Sposh Broshfosh/Durham/Sports Bar without switching off due to the tedium of it all.

At first, I was surprised neither of them had noticed that referees have been wearing a device on their wrist which tells them if a ball has crossed the line or not for the past five years but, thinking about it, Porky's probably only watched games involving Everton in that time, all of which whilst pissed and Al only watches games when he's had a bet on one of the sides and usually falls asleep by halftime!

Let's face it, it would've been a surprise if they HAD known about said device and knew anything about modern football! :)

Heard a bit of it, and enjoyed it again.

Two hours a week is perfect.

I love how subdued Parry is around Brazil, he must be in awe, love him or scared to slag him back. No loaf-face or fatso gibes for Al. Brazil also has a perfect knack for mocking Porky right before the ads come in too so Parry can't get a word in to defend his 'character'.

It really is money for old rope, this sports broadcasting though. Not a scooby known about football by either of these two.

As per Ed Ched here: https://talkforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f ... 5#p1285861 Parry talking shite as usual, Boozil seems livlier with these late starts. Still miss MK though.

Old Parry up to his usual bull .
He's telling big Al that the first big gig at Woodstock was because Bob Dylan was born there.
According to Google , Bob was born in Duluth, Minnesota.

Well that is the way Porky is. If people haven't realised by now, the fault lies with them.

Parry maybe got mixed up because Dylan lived near Woodstock. He didn't play and played Isle of Wight a couple of weeks later.

Mike Parry is up there with Adrian Durham in being a deeply unpleasant individual. There is progressively less and less of the tS schedule I can stomach, let alone enjoy.
Come for the rampant misogyny, stay for the tedious bitching
