North Korea

It turns out now that their use of the word "denuclearisation" did not mean giving up their nuclear weapons.

It means that they would stop tests. That is because they believe they have a viable weapon and means of delivery.

So the chips have been pissed on.

Vindication for all those who were surprised and concerned when Trumpalot announced the intention to meet. Previous summits have only happened after there has been much sounding-out by the diplomats on either side so that they are confident a meeting can be expected to be successful.

Yet another example of why electing an amateur is a truly dumb idea.

This was covered in Yes Prime Minister, when Sir Humphrey explained that post-meeting statements are agreed on and written before any meeting.

Well we don' t know what they do or don't believe really do we Hillman.
I often think this ill founded belief that they can know what others are thinking is a hallmark of the sandal wearing yogurt knitting class which confounds their aims.
Fact is that President Trump has achieved far more than all his predecessors on this matter and actually it's the testing which is likely to start a war with NK's regional neighbours, not whether they do or don't have nukes.
They might well have a viable device but that's not very important because they'd be wiped off the face of the earth very quickly in the event that they attempted to deploy it against any major power, so the main thing is to dissuade them from provoking a local conflict by firing missiles over Japan or SK, because that would kill many people in the region.

In any case, I think the reality is that they're China's glove puppet , and the Chinese wouldn't let them start any wars unless they wanted a pasty to ignite conflict then reluctantly intervene themselves to restore peace . Not much chance of that though because they're being quite successful in their quiet war using climate change and fostering social and economic chaos via globalism , atheism and fake science in the West.

Interesting that your resentment of the democratic process which elected someone you don't approve of as President is enough to make you exaggerate , if not plain invent the success of the North Korean Dictator in his conflict with the President.

Of course, if you confine yourself to Trump's captive media, you wouldn't.
I often think this ill founded belief that they can know what others are thinking is a hallmark of the sandal wearing yogurt knitting class which confounds their aims.
Nobody does- it is based on what they have SAID. See above.
Fact is that President Trump has achieved far more than all his predecessors on this matter and actually it's the testing which is likely to start a war with NK's regional neighbours, not whether they do or don't have nukes.
Let's see...undermined his Secretary of State who was trying to bring about dialogue..abused the NK leader...threatened them with annihilation...had his VP snub them at the Winter Olympics. He's maybe done MORE. It's WHAT he has done that is the problem.

Another mistake. It's the fact that they won't do what China wants that is part of the problem.
Not much chance of that though because they're being quite successful in their quiet war using climate change and fostering social and economic chaos via globalism , atheism and fake science in the West.
Yeah, yeah
Interesting that your resentment of the democratic process which elected someone you don't approve of as President is enough to make you exaggerate , if not plain invent the success of the North Korean Dictator in his conflict with the President.
"Resentment of democracy"- how wrong can you be? It's the perversion of democracy that happened, and still is, that I resent. Interference with the election process, bribing people to be silent during the election, using the office of POTUS for personal gain, ignoring the Constitution...we could be here for hours. Safe to say the the decisions by GOP Congress members to distance themselves from him at the next election, speaks volumes.

All the rest aside, if you base your beliefs about what someone THINKS on what they SAID, then you're going to be wrong an awful lot

Rather like a football match, you could pick any election to bits and say that the outcome was wrong for various reasons, but if you do that you're in trouble , because if we fail to accept the result of elections then the only alternative is war.
That's why we've avoided nit picking after the event in democracies for so long. Perhaps too many people now are too stupid to know what they can bring upon themselves and everyone else in this way.

You are desperate to ignore this. A better tactic would be to refrain from posting.

You simply display your lack of knowledge of how these things work. Typically, Trump ignored the advice of his people and blurted out that the Big I Am had got a meeting with the Koreans. Which is the complete reversal of when he told his S of S that talking to them was a waste of time.

It doesn't really "turn out now"...this is what Lil' Kim has said all along

He hasn't mentioned "denuclearisation" before.Trump has.
What Trump wants is for him to give up nuclear weapons. This is not what he intends.

Stop it now Hilly !
Personally I’d be quite happy to play insult tennis with you because it’s fun and I always win , but the house rules don’t allow it anymore. “Knowledge” is not defined by agreement with your arguments and the point I made is not diminished by you calling me names.
I thought we’d agreed not to do that ?

Or it could be due to the fact that their underground testing site has collapsed.
