Have you read about the death of Mr Otto Warmbier? Horrific beyond belief:

As someone who knows South Koreans - some of the most intelligent, kind, funny and industrious people I've never met - I can say that South Korea is a solid example showing why Capitalism works. Socialist and Communist regimes are evil:

Re: North Korea
I wonder what Hillman fears most?
North Korea starting a horrific regional and possibly global conflict due to their shall we say, wacky, leadership?
Or the Trump regime possibly pulling off an unlikely if limited success?

Yes, Trump is certainly a godsend for World Peace. I'm sure Hillman will agree.

He was bombing Syria a couple of weeks ago. How quickly the Trump supporters forget.

Re: North Korea
Just a few short months ago the Korean peninsula was in danger of nuclear conflict
This morning the leaders of North and South Korea held an summit meeting producing good cheer, great hope and extraordinary images.
Lo and behold Kim Jong-un doesn't possess two horns and a tail. Who'd a thunk it.

Re: North Korea
There have been two previous summits between them in the last 18 years.
They did not produce any improvement.
Hope this is different

So do I. Trouble is Trump has been in office for over a year & there’s a desperate need to label something a Trump achievement so Trump’s outriders are demanding people celebrate before anyone knows for certain what’s going on. Even Trump is being cautious.
We’ve been here before. Hopefully it will be different this time.

It’s a cheeseburger & a wank in front of Fox News for him these days. Melania is repulsed just by the idea of holding hands with him.

Weird how the propaganda isnt the same as the reality. As someone who is fascinated by north korea, it has seemed for years, lil kim is actually quite all right, in between bouts of eating, hes actually done quite a lot to try and improve his subjects lives, his father was genuinely mentally unwell, but this geezer has seemed to, by all accounts, try to improve the country.

That’s a bit of a stretch.
I think the best we can hope is that he’s a bit less of a tyrant & more willing to negotiate than his father & grandad.

Alternatively he may have got wind of a rebellion due to the effect sanctions are having on his people ,getting some of these stopped may prevent an uprising of the masses

Re: North Korea
How hard must it be for the likes of the Anti-Trump supporters to give the man any credit? It's honestly amusing to see them try to explain how nothing will happen and everything negative is all Trumps fault. Rather amusing I must say.
