Wouldn't the Winter Olympics, and the summer ones as well, be much better if they dropped all the events based on judges' opinions. If there isn't a measurable absolute result; drop it.
That would get rid of such abominations as ice dancing and poncing around on skis and snowboards.

I very rarely care about anyone in any British side winning anything but, for some reason, I was on the edge of my seat on Lizzie Yarnold's winning run in the last Games and was really chuffed for her.

I don’t normally follow Olympic Games stuff but for some reason I have decided to take an interest in this Olympiad.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

My interest in the Winter Olympics was short lived.
I sat back yesterday and switched on to watch a spot of skiing or sommat.....only to see a feature on Eddie the poxy Eagle.
