Playing the aforementioned Halep at 7am (our time) tomorrow, in the QFs in Shenzhen.

Surgery next probably for Murray with no certainty of success.

I think retirement is coming. Taking up a career in sports management at the end of last year was an obvious sign he knew he might be moving on sooner rather than later.

Murray’s defensive style of play was always going to take a toll on his body . Players like federar who go for their shots are still going strong

Top sportsmanship from Gregor Dimitrov. Another potential injury curse for the Brits. Kyle was going toe to toe with the world number 3 and had every chance of winning in a tight final set before he rolled his ankle.

Kyle Edmund beats last year's US Open finalist in a 5 set thriller. Anderson had also made the final of a warm up tournament in India, while Kyle suffered an ankle injury when close to beating Dimitrov.

Huge win, from 2-1 down, against the number 11 seed.

What's happened to Sloane? Not won since the US Open.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Not dialled in. Also has picked up the odd injury. The sheer amount of money she won at the US has probably also had an effect.

I like Sloane. Think she probably needs another reboot. Can never take away that achievement though.

USA have lost a ton of their top players today. About 10 losses, many of them seeds.
