I see they are still churning out the usual mantras;

- The Premier League is competitive - Is it? My definition of competitive is that a fair number of teams have a realistic chance of winning it. That probably hasn't been the case since its inception.

- The Premier League is physical - Is it? - I thought everyone was going on about how there isn't any tackling in the game now. Also, have these presenters actually watched any games in Spain, Italy, Germany or France (remember France, the Rugby Union country)? Every time, I see teams from these leagues, they don't look that different to English sides except in one thing, which has been the case for maybe 3 decades - namely, that they can pass the ball better.
