You and me both....Didn't play that badly in the 1st half, the 2nd half was an absolute joke. spurs were by far the better team, but to be fair, they weren't really up against much.

It was a very strange game all round, Sin.

1st half was like a pre-season friendly.

Which makes the defeat all the harder to take, spurs were the better side but they weren't great shakes either. Said it after only a fews games at the start of the season, we got muggged paying £52m for Lacazette. Don't think he'll see out his 4 year contract at the club.

Give him a break, Rupe

It took Thierry Henry nearly a tear to adapt to playing in premier league - then look what happened.

Rupe, what do you think Arsenal should do now?

Prioritise Europa League (do a Jose) or still concentrate on Top 4 finish?

It took TH14, a lot less than a year to settle, plus from day one we could all see that he was a player. I was more worried about Dennis Bergkamp, he couldn't do a thing right in his first few games at the club. If Lacazette does half as well as either of those two, i'll take it back. Just cant see it.

One thing I will give you Rupe, if Willshere is fit, he must play for England.

He is a class act.

No idea, i think both are probably out of our reach. Only League Cup win at the end of month can save our wretched season.

Re_Top 4

I just don't know, Rupe. I have felt for a long time that Spurs & Arsenal will not finish in Top 4 this year. But every now and then a team above fucks up & gives you hope. All our two teams can do is play as best they can & hope someone fucks up. The obvious choice is Chelsea, but I can't see that - Conte is too good for that.

I'd say that Arsenal are very capable of winning Europa League. You are a very good cup side.

Napoli, Atletico Madrid,Borussia Dortmund,RB Leipzig,Athletic Bilbao, and AC Milan, all in the last 32. Wouldn't fancy Arsenal against any of them.

Really?

Your nuts mate

Just look at your cup form. I'd say your chances of winning it are pretty good - if Wenger decides to prioritise it like Jose did last year.

And on two legs, which must be encouraging.

No complaints, we were clearly the inferior team. Tottenham deserved to win by more than a single goal.

Actually was relatively happy at HT. We just needed to control the ball a little better and get more support to our lone striker.

But second half was a horror show. Kane bullied our strikers and Dembele bossed our midfield.
Ozil failed to turn up again and our passing game was awful.

Agony watching in their end. Had that sinking feeling from the first minute of the second half.
Left at 80mins and was amazed how many Spurs fans were walking down Wembley to beat the queues. What is wrong with these people??!??

Need to focus on the Europa Cup now. Some quality teams still left in, so we need to get our act together.
