England would stroll this tournament if we were there.

We'd stroll alright, and exit at the group stage.

Another rousing, self proclaimed claimed South American national anthem with Chile without the ridiculous, vocal pomposity of Brazil.

Fancy a really good game here.

3-2 either way.

Draxler, Mustafi and Hector, the more recognisable names for the Germans; Sanchez for Chile in the final in St Petersburg. Looking forward to this. A welcome relief from the OTT coverage of The Lions Tour.

I'm officially the closest Englishman to this match without attending it (about 400 metres away).

2400 rubles for locals (my visa makes me local), which is about £30, and 5000 (£65-ish) for foreign types.

Group matches for locals were only 1000 though (£13).

I'd have gone tonight but there weren't two seats together left when I checked a week ago.

Terrible mess up at the back by Chile when they were on top. 1-0 Germany.

Really good game.

Chile are a delight to watch.

Germany have come more into it since the goal.
