Three comic geniuses who genuinely didn't give a fuck who they offended.

The funniest things they did and said were often away from the limelight.

When Bernard Manning died they were discussing it on Talksport. It was Ian Wright and (I think) Durham. Wright told of how he once attended a do and Bernard Manning did a slot. He told a particularly racist gag about a black bloke and frequently gestured towards Wright throughout the routine. Durham asked Wright what was his reaction, wright responded, "I laughed", Durham was shocked and asked how he could possibly laugh in such circumstances to which Wright replied "because it was funny".

To be fair, Mr Wright strikes me as the sort of man who would laugh at his own feet, so I don't think he's a particularly harsh comedy critic.

Freddie mercury, I remember it was announced he did have aids on the news, and I thought straight away he didn't have long left, he died the next day.

Not technically a person, but I watched BBC4's documentary on Cosmonaut's: How the Soviets beat America into Space. And I really felt sorry for Laika, the first animal to orbit the earth. Now, my rational to deal with the pain of her death is this (bare with me): Laika freezes and is put into a state of hibernation, lands on another planet and is resurrected OR in a hundred or so more years, Laika again in a state of stasis, returns to earth and is received as a god (dog is god backwards after all). I know the poor mutt died, but in my heart she lives.

Not even one.
