Game 22: HUYBREXIT: Klaas of ‘17
Two there. THE 13th season of Premier League Darts begins on Thursday. This game is in the style of the tournament - a league stage followed by knockout.
Our league will run for 5 weeks, adding up the points in a league table. The top four will qualify for play-offs (1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd), to be played in week 6. The play-off winners will play for Gold and the losers for Bronze in week 7.
Predict the scores of the 5 matches each week. There is a maximum of 12 legs per match. First to 7 legs is the winner, and if goes to 6-6, the match is a DRAW. So, there are seven possible scores: 7-0, 7-1, 7-2, 7-3, 7-4, 7-5, 6-6. Never put 7-6. It’s impossible.
The better your prediction, the more points you get. Pick the winner, win points. Fail, fail. Feel free to predict a draw, but it’s an all-or-nothing option:
Each week of the league stage, 6 bonus points will go to the person who scored the most points that week (spilt 2x3pts or 3x2pts if there are joint top scorers). Number of spot-on score predictions will be the tie-break throughout.
