Root will make a fuck awful replacement. Wrong temperament and personality. Needs someone imposing who will kick a few arses as the current team coach is fucking useless.

It can only be Root, which will make interesting viewing. It says a lot that there isnt another semi plausible candidate, you could say Bairstow but he's by no means cemented in the side.

I think Root might be quite a good captain, I also thought the same when they gave KP the job tho - that turned out well.
