I think he was just baffled, as everyone else was, as to why players like Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney were struggling to control and kick the ball.

I think the journalists were pretty baffled that he forgot how to be a football manager on quite an important night.

Also, never said sorry. That's the worst thing of all. The astounding arrogance of the man.

I don’t remember the details of his post-match comments to be honest, but I don’t think that abject display was entirely his fault.

He would never say so much himself.

Is that a cryptic comment or a reference to his speech impediment?

Really, Reg? A reference?

TEN first-team players out injured now, at least seven of whom will miss the rest of the season. :(

And we have already played most of this season with several key players missing for long periods.

Lump on the GOT this Saturday.

Nailed on :drinkers:
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Parry was saying pretty much the same as Ol' Pet on tS last weekend.

The Everton peasants are revolting.

He was like that at Liverpool too, nothing is ever his fault. He's fucking useless.

Bought Konchesky and Poulson as well, two of the worst players to ever wear the red shirt.

Bloke is a humongous bellpiece.

Two words.
