For the price you can't go wrong.
Cheers. Got one and makes accessing NAS drive on DNLA so much easier.

Glad this subject has come back up.

I wanna fuck off SKY (have their broadband as well, will that be a problem?)

Is kodi idiot proof to put on yer tele? I'm a fucking dinosaur and have literally no clue, would want on 2 Tv's.

Also, I was thinking about getting a widescreen monitor for the bedroom rather than a TV, good or bad move? (I play up to 8 games of online poker at the same time, so was thinking this might be a good move if everything is compatible)

I have showbox on my phone, is it a better version of that?

basically, if somebody could recommend a starting point for me that would be great. HELP please.

Ok, but is there a way I can watch these streams on a widescreen monitor BG or is it limited to my phone?

Sorry if I sound a complete Goughy.

@ Fug

Your phone is android, what you can load and play on your phone (via google Play Store) you can load and play onto an Android TV box and watch on your TV/monitor, same operating system, same app. You can't go wrong with the link to the android box I posted earlier, it comes Kodi ready with add-ons ready to be installed.

You can watch it on any android device but tablet is probably best.

Kodi add ons are not that great IMO unless someone can give me names of ones they swear by. The channel showing 24 hour Benny Hill is hilarious though :-)

Exodus and SALTS for films and TV, Pheonix is alright too.

Tablet has to have HDMI out, also if using monitor can't cast to it without another device.

If going down the FireStick route for Kodi then ensure that you install 'Wullies Build' by far the most impressive FireStick build out there.

Takes 5 mins to install and has everything you'll ever need.

Quick Google of 'Wullies build FireStick' will see you right.
A joyless arsehole.

You can Tune your Amazon stick into Kodi and Mobro.
With Mobro you can get show like breaking bad,Married with children,Curb your enthusiasm,Trailer park boys,Cheers,Frasier,..so i have been told.
You can only live in the world you know. The rest is just wishful thinking or paranoia.

You can. Mobro does live Sky channels. Sports and movies that are on like a live loop thing. Also does news from States and here. Music channels and documentary channels etc. Does a few things. Not the best picture for a lot of the live streams but decent.

It is free so can't complain to much.

For Kodi there are also other peoples builds if go into Google Play Store. Type in Kodi and there should be a Kodi wizard app. Download the app then go to builds or top ten builds. Top one is good build in top ten build and has loads on it.

Others as well, personal preference I guess. But loads there in builds or just go to top ten.
