A shame it ain't.
It would be like Peter Knowles all over again.
(That's one for the teenagers)
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Didn't they do that a few weeks ago when Klopp moaned about them going early?Petingo wrote:http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/fo ... h-10835398
The Spirit of Shankly boys are trying to organise a mass walkout at Anfield in their next home game.
In the 77th minute......in protest at the rising ticket prices.
Sounds good in theory but would only work if the team were at least three goals up, IMO.
If the match is delicately poised at 0-0 who the heck is going to walk out with 13 minutes plus add on time to go?
Suppose it must have been a trial run....

Problem is that FSG know that if long term fans refused to pay the prices then the seats will be filled by football tourists and the same will be true at several other clubs too. Worse still is that the tourists will probably spend more at the clubs' shops, eat lots of dunkin donuts or whatever club endorsed snack is on offer and wash it down with bucket sized cups of mega profit fizzy pop. They truly are footballing customers/consumers. The season ticket holders who pitch up game in game out are now becoming a nuisance factor for football's money men.Holden Mcgroyne wrote:You keep paying, owners are staying
Only one answer.
Ian Ayre pitched up with a page full of stats but they serve only as obfuscation of the real story. The initially slow process of changing the match going landscape is starting to pick up speed.

Klopp has definitely made a difference at Liverpool, but the jury is still out whether it has/will be a positive one. They need to aim for the performance they produced at Man C, and keep the up-tempo style of play in my opinion.

Wholesale clear out bringing in Klopp like players will be the order of the day.
The same will happen at Man City with Pep and at United if Jose gets the job.
These all powerful managers will dictate
