The jacksons are very good on BBC 4 , even without michaels

Grohl is a brilliant front man, and the Foos are not to shabby either.

Nirvana were phenomenal, but to me that just highlights how mediocre the FFs are. I get all the frontman stuff, but they just don't have the tunes.

yeah even if I don't care for a band I can still recognise when they have a good selection of tunes but for such a big band they don't have many "anthems"

Depends on your definition of 'anthemic'. I'd define the following FF tunes as anthems. But that's me and my taste
