Sunak gives a speech about extremists but won't call Lee Anderson an homophobe or even what he did 'wrong' the we have another of his MPs calling places no go zones and get another saying islamists have taken over. I wonder what his point is.

The Rishi statement ... did that contravene any sort of Ofcom or electoral law? What's stopping him turning up each week live on TV to spout whatever nonsense he feels like? I can't remember any PM just showing-up and slagging-off someone. Ok, Galloway deserves slagging-off, but that's not the point. Or maybe it is. I don't know anymore.

Sunak tells us we've let extremists take over. Which given the UKs experience with the IRA seems silly. I read a few Thatcher biographies and the same day the IRA blew up her hotel she gave a speech about not allowing extremists influence democracy. I look at the extremists we have now are no doubt dangerous but are they the same level as the IRA? It doesn't help labelling Pro-Palestinian protesters islamists or moaning about a play about slavery having the occasional black only shows - being grown up about it is sensible.
