Think I need a bit of cricket glory-hunting to compensate for the usual grim existence.
They're calling themselves the Soar Rockets next year then Derwent after that. :)

They won the last two games haven't they Notts since the first game? Going for four-timer.
Yep. :)

Yep. 3/3 so far as cc says. Join them rather than Brum, though Brum off to a flyer. 79/1 off 39.

Reading on a couple of county forums (not been said in the mainstream media) that the bars were shut at Thursday's as fights were breaking out in the stands.

Not quite the family atmosphere the ECB wanted.

Where was that, JW? Edgbaston always rowdy in the Hollies Stand.

Heard plenty of 'Don't Take me Home' chants today. Bad luck Notts, onwards.

The Hollies stand voted the best stand in cricket for atmosphere for the last three years. Its manic in there.

Oh yeah, it's good, been there, but does get rowdy.

Wasn't implying it was Edgbaston, Headingley is equally rowdy.

Ta. On TS overnight, they mentioned Lords were banning bringing in booze (one of the few grounds you can) due to rowdiness. So ties in with what you're saying.

They're doing it again!
I'm currently watching The Hundred on BBC2 (the men, naturally, not the women, of course) and the team wearing green is fielding and the team in red is batting. For reasons best known to the BBC, the on-screen bowling stats are in red and the batting stats in green.
Marvellous work, there. Not the slightest bit confusing to the first-time viewer.

He’s going to be a huge asset in the T20 World Cup. Hits it a country mile.
