Err, no offence, Lambrini. With K-dramas and all the old films you watch, is lambrini life just good old wine drinking, sofa iving? That's living alright.
Anyway. I've seen nothing on Prime or Netflx for months that interests me.
Lasted a couple of episodes of 'Dahmer'. Nay to H&M.
Maybe interested in the tennis show, but after bad reviews, nay bother.
Prime does me well, but Netflix less so. I think I only keep it to give my nephew access.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Watching the Last Czars at the moment which is a good watch about the last of the Ramanovs and the first series of Yellowstone on Paramount+. Quite impressive start.Carlos J wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 9:45 amErr, no offence, Lambrini. With K-dramas and all the old films you watch, is lambrini life just good old wine drinking, sofa iving? K-drama seems a bit niche and it doesn’t really do it for me from what I’ve read. Is it focused more towards millennial women?

Re: Netflix and Amazon during outbreak of COVID-19
Sat through the Yellowstone's pilot, 90 odd minutes and not sure if I'll continue.
Potentially could be alright, but there's a few shady/cliche's in it
Bad-ass daughter with 2 minute monologues and how sassy/cool she is! Think that'll bore quickly or KC's grumbling and huffing. Along with dodgy Senator/Governors.
I'll see though, and would love to visit that area someday so I'm loving the scenery and the idea of Yellowstone.
Maybe Euphoria - although maybe I'm too close to a boomer to be watching that!

Now seen all 5 seasons of Yellowstone (although there is a part 2 of season 5 coming out in June). Also 1883 which is a prequel to Yellowstone, and have have watched episode 1 of 1923. I'm hooked on it and also another two of Taylor Sheridan's creations, Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King starring Sly Stallone. It's Vespa's fault he put me on to them.
Paramount Plus easily beats Amazon and Netflix at the moment imo.

I'm not sure to be honest. Women definitely, though occasionally some, such as Squid Game and My Mister achieve mass appeal.kancutlawns wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 12:05 pmWatching the Last Czars at the moment which is a good watch about the last of the Ramanovs and the first series of Yellowstone on Paramount+. As for the "errr, no offence" comment, I can't stand that term because in my most cases, the person saying it is knowingly causing offence. Just say what you mean, Carlos, but I don't need to justify my life to you.

Lambrini. To paraphrase the Stone Roses, I've got no bad intentions. The fine line is meant as it is.lambrini wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2023 6:54 pmI'm not sure to be honest. Re: Netflix and Amazon during outbreak of COVID-19
Rewatching My Mister I've decided it's one of the best dramas of all time. Everything is perfect, from the sadness laced with humour to the soundtrack. The muted cinematography captures the stress and banality and of city life. Viewers relate to the characters' problems: fleeting youth, failed careers, broken marriages, ailing grandparents, annoying but loveable siblings, corrupt managers, jealousy, betrayal, unrequited love. I can't recommend it enough.
