It's all very well saying that they are sure the child is dead but what proof do they have? Have they found the remains or are they relying on something heard by someone, after all, unless I'm being totally daft, I hardly think the bloke currently in jail is going to admit to having anything to do with her disappearance.

Which matching DNA? I confess I didn't follow the story as closely as some, I am assuming that there was DNA found which the police couldn't match?
If there was DNA found wouldn't the police of whichever country have got a court order to test his against whatever samples they have, I'm just waiting for someone to test the DNA on the Turin Shroud and prove that it woz Jeeezuss hoo dun it.
