Yep, just a fancy title which means he'll be in charge of the sports science section. Yesterday's news coverage was an embarrassment based on his status in the US. As Jimmy said who gives a fuck, and no one does outside of Small Heath.

I am optimistic though Wagner has started things off well, but you've got to get it into perspective. It's on the pitch that counts. We lost 13 players at the end of last season, out of contract, released, loanees going back and we've signed 9 new players so far. The good thing about that is they are all permanent signings. We still need a few more before the window shuts.

If we don't start well, the snides will be back, but realistically it takes a while for new players to integrate. I'd be more than happy with a mid table slot this season.

Since Sullivan and Gold sold the club in 2009, Birmingham City have been fucked in the ass by two lots of Chinese shithouses.

Wagner has a reputation of reviving dead carcasses. He has appointed Garry Cook as CEO. He's a lifelong Birmingham fan, and is an experienced and respected leader in the global football and sports industry. We now welcome Tom Brady to the team, and although given the recent history of the club, supporters will not be getting too excited, you can understand their cautious optimism being displayed.

A few snidey digs from know nothings will not dampen their enthusiasm, particularly from those across the Aston Expressway, who will always be followers of a soulless ragbag of a club.
