He’s a whiny, non stop yapping, uncharismatic, drone who needs to be smacked around the head once in a while to get him to shut up for a few seconds. He has no real say in sports broadcasting which is why he’s filling in for Nicky Campbell.

Yes. I'm not sure what happened. I think he unearthed and then opened The Lament Configuration (The Puzzle Box in 'Hellraiser'), entered the depth's of hell, returned, and has never been quite the same again.
