Dave Grohl seems a right laugh, but you still need some tunes. They're just a generic rock band; could be absolutely anyone. Don't get it at all.

I'm a pretentious twat when it comes to music. But I think there's a place for a generic rock band, and the foos are the best at it.

I am a bit biased though due to being a massive nirvana fan at school

Nirvana were phenomenal, but to me that just highlights how mediocre the FFs are. I get all the frontman stuff, but they just don't have the tunes.

I thought the first track was brilliant but after that, pretty meh :(
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

I enjoyed The XX.

And a Boston band name of Darlingside, an acoustic outfit whose superb harmonising reminded me of CSN.

Foo Fighters are great. Yeah yeah, they are fairly safe, but isn't the whole Glasto thing all a bit 'safe' these days? The BBC's unhealthy obsession with 'celebrities' did my head-in with constant shots of David Beckham with his gormless son watching from the VIP area at almost every fucking performance. Geezus fuck, it's pathetic. Corbyn showing-up too was pretty hard to take. And look at these two...

Carlos ... would you say Lauren Laverne is better or worse than Jo WIley? I know my answer.

I see that the future of the event is being put in danger by the way the revellers are using the fields to piss and shit in instead of using the provided facilities, although I bet the bogs are in the same state as the fields. Not for me beaky, the music matches what's in the shitters, and imaging being stuck in the middle of armies of unwashed Corbyn fans. :D
