Have a guess what one of the guests were this morning and good to have him on. Clue is the running order was talking about Liverpool then Newcastle then Coventry.

Funnily enough, I walked past a dead rat the other day and Quimmy was the first thing that sprang to mind.

A passage from "1984" that I stumbled across, strangely prescient.

“So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance ... football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds.”

Christ, that's TalkSport to a tee. The gambling advertising is fucking relentless. Personally, I think the advertising should be banned, like cigarette advertising, or at least only put on after 9pm. I've nothing against gambling per se, but it's bloody wall-to-wall.

Oh god her voice is so irritating early in the morning. Unlistenable.

Some cunt from "The Apprentice", apparently. I'll bet that in the end he turns out to be some RADA-twat, like Danny Dire, whose target audience is his fellow middle-class tossers who idealise the "rough boys" mama and papa told them not to play with.
He should be put in the same box as "Hardest Geezer" ... a self-appointed nickname if ever there was one.

The original "Bosh!" Skinner was Mickey Skinner, the rugby bloke from the olden days.

Why do so many footballers think they can sing?
Yesterday we had to listen to an hour of "Ally's Greatest Hits" [a slow news day, as Stelling had the grace to admit] but they all fancy themselves as singers, as if being good at football wasn't enough.
Brazil never passes up a chance to join in with any song, and it's fucking awful, despite the co-host being contractually-obliged to say how good it is. Ian Wright was another one, when he was on with Clever Adrian.

It works the other way round, too, for reasons yet to be explained by science. Rod Stewart and Robbie Williams fancy themselves as footballers.

WHY???
