Radacanu v Serena in the first round at Cincinnati. Monday night on Prime, so could be a late one.

6-0 and match to Radacanu. She did ok, but she was playing an unfit 40yr old.

Serena has the turning circle of a tanker these days.

Is it true she flounced-off court afterwards?

Sorry carc, didn't see the second sentemce till now.

Serena was gone damn pronto off court and the US TV did want an interview with her.

Emma was niice and twee as she always is about Serena, but think the Cincy crowd and braodcasters were probably a bit miffed.

Fun to see what happens in the US Open when Serena loses as they will sure want to do something big.*

Maybe just let losers go as they won't be happy and on this form and her ranking, Serena his heading for a first round exit.

* They should bring on the little Oriental line judge for laffs:

it's gone a little quiet in some threads, maybe f1, too, where the shouting....and the inferences depend on the results, seemingly

most, err.....

for serena...no to 24 (prayers) but, a hall of fame or something big but maybe for next year where her genuine greatness, transitioning (don't get excited usual one) of eras can be celebrated. Deserves full send off as one of the greatest bird players ever

remember that sad send off for murray....might have been the aussie....little video messages etc etc....sickening

bringing legends to the game for live interviews woud be good for tennis, esp in joey rounds...lots to choose from

serena, ABF....

Agree. Leave it and after a year do the razzmatazz.

But Cincy wanted the penultimate, US Open will want it big.

But she has no form, no tennis fitness. The power will still win points, but harmony Tan blew her by making her run. And yesterday after the close fist set, Emma walked the second, Serena was gone. If, as likely she loses 1R, will she want a big scene? Doubt it. Organisers should ask and sort it.

Murray in Oz. Think it was because he just announced retirement before so a rushed thing and shit. And lo, he unretired many times since.

Emma , unless got form back and did play nicely, not like to go far her and in the USO against better players, plus how her body hold up.

Maybe after all the US Open points drop off, not down to a ton, depends on her and others, but likely 50s which is more reasonable.

I was simply wondering if there was follow up with the serena stuff, where you just stopped short.

No issues if there isn't.

I understand why some people have a problem with her.
Her behaviour at times has been inexcusable, but in the main she's been a huge force for good.

are you able to accept that lots of folks don't like her because of her character and behaviour, not for 'other' as yet undisclosed reasons?

but as a player, her record is amazing

one of the best tennis players ever in terms of results
