I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

That reminds me KC, do they still have the onion fair on the Serpentine near Villa Park. That was big if I remember correctly (Behind the Aston parish church).

The actual 'fair' part of Goose fair is about a 1/10 of that one in Hull.
