Does anyone know why, when I type in to search, the type goes to the top of my screen and not in the search box in the Google homepage?Only happened since I got a new PC.

Re: Using Google
Are you using Chrome for the first time?
I've used Chrome for years on all my devices and that happens automatically.

No, used it for years as well. Maybe I didn't notice it before. Cursor is in search box, but as soon as you start typing it shoots to the top. Just looked it up and it's something to do with enabling or disabling omnibox, which must be the bar at the top.
