Currently the bin police and lorries are prioritising areas where you can sling as much shit in your bin as you like and over spill it till it spews all over the pavement. You can put anything in any bin ,no problem.
I was stuck behind one the other day and that was exactly the case. Every street was the same. Nothing said by the jobsworths lest race is mentioned even over a bin collection.

That being said. Any binman who sticks a big warning sticker on a bin because of wrong things in it needs to sit down and have a good long hard think about why he would even do such things and why. Bonuses? If even that.....no idea if do BTW.......but if even that. Sad, small behavior.
It's what he has to do. The contract with the firms that process the recycling penalise the council if they have to extract non-recyclables.
So they have to tell the refuse worker to do something when they find it's the wrong stuff.
What do you suggest he does?
It's not "what he has to do". It's him being an utter jobsworth and being incapable of making a rudimentary decision to empty bins. I would say he should exercise discretion and clean the fucking bins as it's us taxpayer who pays his wages.
I occasionally don't have my bins cleaned for the heinous crime of putting fish bones in the green bin. If you're going to get arsey on this and I suspect you are because you support a criminal who should be hauled up in front of the Hague then there is really no point in engaging with you.
Lawnseys right you know .............on this subject anyhow
No Lawnso is not correct. As part of their employment Refuse Collection Operatives are required to sticker general waste bins that are overfull to reduce the amount taken to landfill. They are also often heavy and difficult to load and without spilling into the street. It costs a lot to send refuse to landfill... Recycling bins are a slightly different matter and if you recycle a lot your authority will usually provide you with a second bin to encourage you and reduce waste sent to landfill.
Think of it like a parking ticket because you are too thick to use a wheely bin properly.
Bonuses? Even suggesting it shows your ignorance on this subject but as ever, parading about like you know what you're preaching about
BINMAN!

You don't generally get paid by your employer if you go on strike.
