Very sad news Glazed.

Words can’t wipe away your tears.
Hugs won’t ease your pain.
But hold on to your memories.
Forever they’ll remain.
When your heart is blue, there is nothing you can do. Keep Right On

Sorry to hear that, GEH. Thoughts with you.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

So sorry to hear this, Horse.

I dread to think what you are going through right now, mate.

But my thoughts are with you along with (by the looks of it) everyone else on this forum.

RIP

You have my deepest sympathy.
I know what you are going through. My Mum died, aged 86; after recovering from a stroke she developed pneumonia and died in hospital after a week.
It’s a dreadful experience to know that your lifelong friend, for that’s what mums are, has gone and won’t be around for you.
I am far from religious, but I did find a quotation that did help a little, knowing that she was now free from pain and worry.

'And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.'

My deepest sympathies horse.
I'm sure that your mums memory will live in the influence she's had on your life, and through that the influence you have on people, like pebbles in a pond.
