Thank you Mr Carlos

I'm planning to go there for a few days in next week or two. It's just something I thought about at weekend. Just exhausted from work and plan to see and soak in the blue lagoon though I've heard there's a much better natural hit spring about 50 miles away from Reykjavik the capital.

Know anything about it?

Hi Bobby. I will ask when see her and get back to you. As per, think others have been there and can also help.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Never been to Bath, Bobby. My knowledge of the south west is poor. Bristol a few times, never down to Devon or Cornwall.

I will ask when see her about Iceland, nay problem.

Yes, Bobby. What would you like to know?

Reykjavík is a small town, and you could probably do it all in 2 days maximum. Not much to see, although the infamous penis museum. The last 5 years has seen a mass increase in tourists and the main drag now resembles something like the Royal Mile - lots of cheap tatty tourist shops. Go though and check it out. It is extremely expensive too, e.g 9 quid a pint, and if you are lucky you'll get one during happy hour for about 7 quid although it depends, the shitter loking the place, the cheaper the pint. Buy your hard liquor from duty free e.g a bottle of vodka, gin, etc which might be around 15-20 pound in England will be about 60 quid upwards from Vínbúð (the state run alcohol shop). Beer is reasonably priced for Icelandic standards from Vínbúð so I would waste buying beer at the duty free.

Lastly, it´s expensive but I'm sure you'll know that by having a look in advance. Car hire seems absolutely mental prices! I think 3-4 days will cost me the same as hire in USA for 16 days.

Enjoy, and let me know if you need any advice.

It was quite windy high up so I'd tend to put a fleece on. I like going there this time of year though. I did scafell pike for the first time on Monday , that was a tough one. Glad I did it though
