Thanks Shabbs. Been a tough year and thanks to some old friends, I'm fortunate to be able to do it.

Good one Eddie. Sounds like a cracking trip. Foos being the icing on the cake.

You seen them live before?

Yes mate, I have a bit of history and friends in the mix with them. First time was Reading 95 and I'm probably edging towards 20+ but not much in the past ten years apart from a great night in Sydney a couple of years ago. Bangkok will be mental as it's indoors

But all fun and no Maddie child leaving issues. :?
Enjoy mate.....it'll make you realise why you don't have kids Image
Thanks and it certainly will. :)

Trying to plan to take in an NHL game and an NFL game - probably Redskins and maybe Pittsburgh for the hockey.

Anyone been to the start of the south? And recommendations for a road trip? Girlfriend (probably should start saying partner) has been to Maryland, and we've both been to New York so it'll be more a west/south trip rather than north east.

When you going Kev?

NFL season doesn't start till September though you may get pre season friendly games from mid August onwards.

NHL is pretty similar.

Watch yourself in the South. Watched a documentary called Deliverance and it kinda put me off going.

If going to Maryland pop into West Baltimore and see Marlo and the boys

We're going in September, Shabs so both seasons will have started.

I really fancy going to Nashville, but it seems a bit out of the way. Also fancy going to Allentown in PA, probably just for the Billy Joel song and no doubt it'll be some wasteland and not worth the 4hr drive.

I really, really want to do that trip you did a few years back - Utah, Colorado, Arizona, etc.

Off to Florida this morning, not a holiday as such, taking daughter to set her up for a year in Uni over there.

My lady is Spanish, but is not fond of heat.
When we went to Madrid the first time it was around 31’C, which “was too hot”, so “let’s not go in late July next time.”
Next year we went a week or so earlier and it was hotter.
So the next year we went in late June; it was even hotter.
This year we went in mid-June and it was around 40’C every day.
Perhaps I should consider next January
