Wouldn't fit through the door. Had to have his own studio made specially for him.

It's long at 26.23 but for me it's worth the wait.

I think Iain should debate with jis alter-ego Steve. That would be some row.

Iain has been alluding to his Rajar figures being crap. Maybe if he didn't start every night with that slurring idiot on the phone a few more people might stick around...

Haha... No, it's some bloke called Caddick, a shouty slurry Brummie who rarely seems to contribute much but rings up in the first hour every evening without fail. If I was new to Iain I think it'd be enough to put me off.

Is he slurry or is it just the Birmingham accent?

Iain Lee's show is generally good but his broadcasting style is a bit offputting occasionally. Periods of dead air or whispering.

Nope - this is Caddick: Russ in Lichfield doesn't call in anymore, as he decided Iain was ignoring him on Twitter or something.

I do not. He is an absolute cunt, a stance since first seeing him on the 'The 11 O'Clock Show' and never changed. Hearing on the repeated overnight MK and Parry he had a car crash on the way in to his show:
One would presume deaths by that twat.

Is it not well known that Iain suffers from depression? You are reading way too much into that.

Also, he admits himself 'The 11 O'Clock Show' was terrible and there is stuff he regrets doing. Can you not forgive him for his wise and careful curation of The Monkees catalogue?

I'm no fan of his radio shows, but saw his recent interview with Richard Herring and found him to be quite an interesting and engaging character.

Oh, enough with the fucking Monkees... I like Iain's show, but every time he starts banging on about the Monkees or the Beach Boys or announces yet another guest who was involved with the 60s music scene I want to give him a slap.

I see what you mean re: the Monkess etc as it can get a bit nerdish. But, I must admit I like the interviews with people in the music industry. Especially if they were not a name, but were involved with name singers or bands. Radio needs people to do shows like his though. There are enough "issue" phone-in shows, so it's good to have lighter stuff like Danny Baker or Iain.

With regard to his personality, he does suffer from depression and he is quite open about it. I respect that and while he can be a dick at times, I think his show is worth listening to. It certainly beats the Colonel's serious show on LBC and Stain and Cundy on Talksport.
