Think Boyd now, after years away, will be a curio rather than anything else.

Not some Gaunt shit?
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

He's doing OK.
This spat with Gaunt has hit him hard. He should just look at the "career path" the fat one has followed and realise he is an infinitely better presenter than a man in his pants talking to half a dozen racists for a full 2 hours a day.

Re: Iain Lee
Starting off yet another show with a sycophantic interview with a musical hero from his childhood...
I love a lot of Iain's shows. The call ins are great, the chats between him and Kath are never less than enjoyable. But the constant 60s/70s music interviews leave me so cold. And I get it - you can't please all the people all the time, and I don't usually complain, I just tune back in in half an hour/an hour once the interview is over.
Iain's not a bad interviewer, it's just the same thing over and over and over again, and it's so out of keeping with the rest of the show. And it feels like lately it's always been at 10pm - I have to wonder how many potential listeners are alienated by what's a pretty niche strata of interviews...

His self indulgence is tedious now
Still listening to his LBC shows

Hi, how are you. My name's Elliot, and I'm with the Cub Scouts of America. We're selling uncut cocaine to get to the jamboree.

Some of his callers are the worst. Think they are mini celebrities in their own right.

Re: Iain Lee
Hearing his show for the first time in ages and apparently he thinks it could be his last due to the buyout by NewsCorp? Any truth in this or just rumours? Haven't listened to Iain for ages and trying to get back to it?

Re: Iain Lee
Get the impression it's about the ratings. He's been frantically plugging the show on twitter for a few weeks now, may have had a 'boost the figures or else' warning.
Edit, ratings mentioned here
